Starting out with something simple, planks are core strengthening exercises that involve maintain a push up like position for a considerable amount of time. Begin by getting on all fours, keeping your hand directly under your shoulders. Extend your legs and squeeze in your abdominal muscles. You can make this into a friendly competition by seeing who can hold a plank the longest!

Passing Sprints
If you and your partner are into cardio then this exercise will really help you get a good work out in. To spice up your regular jog or run around the block, add an element of sprints. This involves one of you sprinting ahead of the other, who then sprints to catch up to their partner. This exercise is even more fun than it sounds!

Leg Push
One person will start by lying on the ground with the other person behind them. The person on the ground will hold the other’s ankles for support and bring their legs up to their partner, who then pushes them down. Your aim while doing this exercise will be to not let your feet touch the ground. After they are pushed, bring them back up. Continue this for 30 seconds, and then switch positions.

Body Weight Squat
This is one of our Valentine’s Day favorites because you can work out while staring into your partner’s eyes! For this exercise both of you have to face each other and hold each other’s forearms. Next, slowly bend your knees and lower your body toward the ground, paying close attention to your quads and hamstrings.

Wheelbarrow Push
This super fun exercise that you might remember from your childhood involves one person “walking” on their hands while a partner holds the legs. We promise you this one will include a lot of laughter and leave you with a new found love for couple workouts!

The Stretch Band
This exercise is a triceps strengthening workout. For this you and your partner just have to hold either end of a stretch band and pull. The best part of this fun exercise is that in the end you always wind up together, just like in life!

Alternating Box Jump
The alternating box jump is a low impact exercise that mainly focuses on leg strengthening and building stamina. You need to place a box between you and your partner and alternately jump on and off the box in squat position. Use your partner for support if you get disbalance and keep giving each other words of motivation!
