There is nothing more enjoying than having your favourite homemade popsicles on a hot day. QUICK TIP FOR MAKING POPSICLES…

Make sure to leave about 1/4″ space at the top of the mould to drop in a thin orange slice (remove the rind!), and for the popsicle to expand.

Planning an Event?

Because when juice and water freezes, it expands. If the juice and ice expand over the mould, it makes the removal of the lid on the mould harder. Also, you don’t get a clean edge to your popsicle.

KIWI WATERMELON FRUIT POPSICLES

For all the fresh fruit lovers here is the popsicle made with completely out of fresh fruit, these popsicles are a healthy dessert option for both kids and adults. Not only these are made from 100% Kiwi Watermelon Fruit Popsicles but also they are completely delicious and satisfying for hot summer days.

INGREDIENTS
4 kiwis, peeled
3 cups of seedless watermelon
optional if necessary: a splash of water (I used coconut water to help blend up the kiwi. The watermelon needs no extra liquid.)

INSTRUCTIONS
You can choose which fruit you want to blend first. Remember that whichever fruit you pour into your mould first will be the fruit on the top of the popsicle while you’re holding it.
Add the kiwi into a blender or food processor and blend until fully liquified. For the kiwi, I added in a splash of water to help. If you don’t have a blender or food processor, you can always mash the fruit thoroughly with a fork.
Pour the kiwi into the bottom of your popsicles moulds and place in the freezer for at least an hour.
When ready, blend up all of the watermelons and pour it into the popsicle moulds on top of the mostly frozen kiwi.
Place the popsicle sticks into the watermelon puree and place the mould back into the freezer for at least an additional hour.
Once done, run the mould under warm water to help release the popsicles. ENJOY!!
